National Police Agency Launches "Voice Phishing Suspect Voice Tip Campaign"
The National Police Agency announced on December 17 that it will conduct the "Voice Phishing Suspect Voice Tip Campaign (VOICE WANTED)" in collaboration with Cheil Worldwide until February 11 next year.
This campaign aims to raise public awareness of crime damage by sharing the voices of major voice phishing suspects that have already been collected. The agency also plans to receive tips from the public about suspect voices, which will be used to identify criminals or inform crime prevention policies.
Notably, waveform data was extracted from the actual voices of suspects to create six "virtual montages." Each wanted poster includes a QR code, allowing people to listen to the voice of a voice phishing suspect and immediately submit a tip.
