Gwangju Esports Education Center to Hold 2nd One-Day Class on the 20th
Gwangju Esports Education Center announced on the 16th that it will hold the "2nd Esports One-Day Class" to enhance understanding of the esports industry and provide practical experience for local youth who are aspiring talents interested in the field.
This One-Day Class is a career-focused program featuring current professionals from the global esports powerhouse T1 and content creators. The program is designed to offer comprehensive career information, covering everything from an overview of the esports industry and content production to the structure of the professional gaming scene.
The program consists of a total of three sessions.
In the first session, Han-kyu Lee from the T1 Business Department will give a lecture focusing on the structure and market trends of the global esports industry, as well as T1's team operations and business strategies.
The second session will feature Valorant content creator BurnyBurny, who will share practical experiences as a creator, including understanding the YouTube algorithm, content planning, and channel growth processes.
In the final session, an artist instructor from T1 Esports Academy will introduce the structure of the professional gaming scene, the youth system, and the player development process, providing realistic career direction in esports.
The event will take place in person on December 20 at the Gwangju Esports Education Center. Participation is free, and anyone interested in the esports industry, content, creators, or the professional scene is welcome to join.
Jung Yeoncheol, Director of the Gwangju Esports Education Center, said, "This One-Day Class is designed to help participants gain a more concrete understanding of the esports industry and career paths through real-life cases from current industry professionals," adding, "We hope this will serve as a practical opportunity for local talents to explore the possibility of entering the esports field."
Meanwhile, the Gwangju Esports Education Center is working to nurture future talent in the region through comprehensive job training programs covering commentary, production, planning, operations, and mental care within the esports sector.

The Gwangju Esports Education Center operates with support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Gwangju Metropolitan City as part of the "2025 Esports Professional Talent Development Support" project, with Honam University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation managing the project in 2025. The center is currently running various educational programs aimed at discovering and fostering prospective professional gamers, training on-site practical esports professionals, and expanding the esports base.
