280 Bags of White Rice Provided to Senior Meal Centers in 9 Districts
Supporting Vulnerable Groups Through the Winter
On December 12, Busan Urban Corporation held a 'Sharing Love Rice' event for residents of nine permanent rental apartment complexes operated by the corporation, as well as for vulnerable groups.

View original imageThrough this event, the corporation provided 280 bags (20 kg each) of white rice to senior meal centers at nine permanent rental apartment complexes, including Dongsam, Dadae, and Deokcheon districts. The rice was allocated to each complex according to the number of households.
The rice supplied will be used for free meals for seniors and vulnerable groups at the senior meal centers in the social welfare facilities of each permanent rental apartment complex. In particular, by contracting with facilities that produce goods made by people with severe disabilities, the corporation also contributed to creating jobs for people with disabilities and improving their welfare.
