Hanjin Group announced on December 15 that it has donated 2 billion won to the Community Chest of Korea's "Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign" as a year-end contribution.
The Hope Sharing Campaign is a fundraising initiative organized by the Community Chest of Korea during the year-end and New Year season, aiming to usher in a hopeful new year.
Since 2001, Hanjin Group has consistently participated in this campaign, contributing a total of 57 billion won to date, including this year's donation. The funds will be used to strengthen the social safety net by supporting the livelihood of neighbors in welfare blind spots and helping vulnerable groups build a foundation for economic independence.
A Hanjin Group representative stated, "As we approach the end of the year, we are reaching out to those in need around us and will continue to strive to create a brighter and healthier society through active social contribution activities."
