More than 30 people attended the meeting, including the head of Yeoncheon County, the Yeoncheon County Small Business Association, representatives from traditional markets and alleyway business associations, as well as members of various small business-related organizations.

Yeoncheon County explained the plan for the rural basic income pilot project and the places where the basic income can be used, and took time to listen to a variety of opinions on ways to achieve mutual growth with the local business community.

An official from Yeoncheon County stated, "Cooperation from the local business community is essential for the successful establishment of the rural basic income policy," adding, "We ask for careful price management and active cooperation to prevent temporary price surges or unnecessary price fluctuations."
