KB Financial Group Earns Top Rating for Climate Change Response for Second Consecutive Year
KB Financial Group announced on December 11 that it has received the highest rating, 'Leadership (A)', for the second consecutive year in the '2025 Climate Change Response' assessment of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
The CDP is a global initiative and an international non-profit organization headquartered in the United Kingdom that requests and evaluates environmental management information, including climate change response, from major listed companies worldwide. The information collected from companies is published annually in a report, which serves as an investment guideline for financial institutions around the world and is recognized as a highly reliable indicator in global environmental assessments.
KB Financial Group continues to implement a variety of its own carbon reduction activities. In addition, by providing comprehensive services that link financial and non-financial solutions-such as the 'KB Carbon Management System,' 'KB ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Consulting Service,' and 'Climate Finance (Green and Transition) Support'-the group is also taking the lead in supporting ESG management for small and medium-sized enterprises.
