The final selection of 12 outstanding public health centers was based on a comprehensive evaluation of indicators such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease prevention education, promotional activities to raise awareness of blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol, and efforts to improve awareness of the prevention and management of major precursor diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia.
Seo-gu has been dedicated to the early detection and registration management of patients with chronic diseases through various initiatives, including health management programs such as exercise and nutrition classes for high-risk groups, support for diabetes complication and HbA1c test costs, lending blood pressure and blood glucose monitors to those with chronic diseases, conducting outreach campaigns such as 'Know Your Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar' and 'Know Your Vascular Numbers,' and organizing self-help groups for people with chronic diseases to promote healthy daily lives.
