Gachon University to Recruit New Students for Early Employment Contract Departments and More
Gachon University will simultaneously conduct the regular undergraduate admissions for early employment contract departments and the additional admissions for the general graduate school for the spring semester next year.
The early employment contract departments are an industry-academia cooperation model supported by the Ministry of Education, in which employment at a partner company is guaranteed upon admission. The goal is to cultivate practical professionals who meet the needs of the industrial field.
For the regular undergraduate admissions (Type B), new students will be recruited in five departments: Department of Biomedical Devices, Department of Game and Visual Studies, Department of Semiconductor and Display, Department of Semiconductor Design, and Department of Future Automotive. Applications will be accepted from December 29 to December 31 of this year.
The general graduate school’s early employment contract department (Department of Next-Generation Semiconductors) will recruit 25 new master's students through the additional admissions for the 2026 spring semester. Majors include Next-Generation Semiconductor Engineering and Next-Generation Semiconductor Design. Applications will be accepted from December 18 to December 26.

The selection process will be conducted according to each company’s schedule from January 7 to January 12 next year, and successful candidates will be announced on January 20. Admitted students will enroll in March next year and study full-time for one year. During the first and second semesters, they will complete major and practical courses based on corporate demand (12 credits per semester). In the third semester, they will participate in a joint R&D project with the company upon employment (6 credits), earning a total of 30 credits to obtain a master's degree. The graduation thesis may be substituted with an R&D project report.
