Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital (Director: Song Hyun) announced on December 10 that Professor Suh Joo-hyun of the Department of Neurology recently received the inaugural "Lee Tae-gyu Headache Researcher Award" at the Autumn Academic Conference of the Korean Headache Society.

View original imageProfessor Suh was recognized for her academic achievements through extensive research activities covering a wide range of headache disorders, including headache, migraine, secondary headache, and intractable headache.
She was also highly praised for her efforts to improve the quality of headache diagnosis and treatment, based on her extensive clinical experience accumulated in the field.
Professor Suh stated, "I will continue my research to help provide better treatment options for patients suffering from headaches."
Meanwhile, the "Lee Tae-gyu Headache Researcher Award" was established with donations from neurologist Lee Tae-gyu to foster the next generation of scholars in the field of headache medicine. The award is given to early-career researchers who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in headache research.
