The Inje County Cultural Foundation in Gangwon Province announced on the 8th that it will hold a public forum on December 11 at the main conference room of the Nam-myeon Administrative Welfare Center in Inje County to gather residents' opinions regarding the Inje Icefish Festival, which has not been held for two consecutive years due to climate change and rising water levels at the Soyang Dam.
This forum is expected to serve as an opportunity to share various perspectives from organizers and residents, including discussions on mid- to long-term strategies to enhance the sustainability of the Inje Icefish Festival, which is the county's representative festival, as well as building consensus among the administration, experts, and the local community.
