Seongdong District to Recruit 60 Members for Youth Administrative Experience Group
Open to Ages 19-29 Regardless of Educational Background

Seongdong District in Seoul (Mayor Jung Won-oh) announced on December 7 that it will operate the 'Youth Administrative Experience Group' for the first half of 2026, providing young people with opportunities to gain social experience through hands-on work in public administration and welfare.

View original imageSince 2024, Seongdong District has become the first autonomous district in Seoul to expand the eligibility for participation from university students to all young people, regardless of educational background, thereby offering administrative experience opportunities to anyone in their twenties.
The recruitment for the first half of next year will be open to a total of 60 participants. Any young person between the ages of 19 and 29 who is registered as a resident of Seongdong District as of the application start date is eligible to apply. However, those who participated in the Youth Administrative Experience Group in either the first or second half of 2025 are not eligible to apply.
Applicants wishing to participate can apply through the Seongdong District Office's online rapid reservation system from 11:00 a.m. on December 8 to 6:00 p.m. on December 19. After the application deadline, a computerized random draw will select a total of 60 participants, and the results will be announced on the district office’s website on December 29.
The final selected members will be assigned to the Seongdong District Office, health centers, community centers, libraries, and other locations, where they will participate in administrative and welfare support work, workshops, and policy idea proposal activities for a total of 22 days from January 12 to February 10, 2026.
