Former German Chancellor Schroeder Visits Kolmar Group's Sejong Factory to Discuss New Business Opportunities
Visit Realized Through Relationship with Chairman Yoon Donghan

Kolmar Holdings announced on December 5 that former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and his wife, along with representatives from the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, visited the Sejong factories of Kolmar Korea and Kolmar BNH on December 2. This visit, made possible through the relationship between Chairman Yoon Donghan and former Chancellor Schroeder, was arranged to discuss new business opportunities and other matters with Kolmar Group.

View original imageOn this day, former Chancellor Schroeder toured the Sejong factory with his wife, Kim Soyeon, Chairwoman of the Schroeder-Kim Foundation. Accompanying them were Mohamed Al Hosani, Chief Executive of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO); Maid Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Emirates-Korea Friendship Society (EKFS); and Raymond Scheffler, CEO of HITI. They toured the production lines for cosmetics and health functional foods.
After the site tour, Yoon Donghan, Chairman of Kolmar Korea, and Yoon Yeowon, Co-CEO of Social Contribution at Kolmar BNH, held a conversation with the guests.
Chairman Yoon has had a long-standing relationship with former Chancellor Schroeder and Kim Soyeon. In 2014, Chairwoman Kim served as the Korea Representative of the North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) Trade & Investment Agency in Germany, where she established connections with Chairman Yoon, who was then President of the World Class 300 Companies Association. At that time, Chairwoman Kim supported Chairman Yoon in building partnerships with institutions such as RWTH Aachen University and the Fraunhofer Institute, and played a key role in enabling World Class companies to collaborate with research institutes and businesses in Germany.
