Gangwon Tourism Foundation Receives "Compliant" Rating in Anti-Bribery Management System Follow-Up Audit
The Gangwon Tourism Foundation announced on December 5 that it had successfully maintained certification for its entire administrative organization by receiving a "compliant" rating in the follow-up audit for the Anti-Bribery Management System (ISO 37001) conducted on November 25.
The Anti-Bribery Management System (ISO 37001) is an international standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to prevent and manage corruption risks within organizations. Even after initial certification, organizations must pass a rigorous annual follow-up audit to maintain it, and any cases of non-compliance may result in suspension or cancellation of the certification.
The Gangwon Tourism Foundation received positive evaluations for its practical initiatives, including: requesting local governments to check for disqualifying reasons during personnel committee staff verification; publicly disclosing information such as budgets, recruitment, and employee family relationships on its website every year; and removing references to hierarchical relationships (Gap-Eul) in contract processes.
