"Investment Experience Redefined by Generation Z, Expanding into Service Innovation"...KB Asset Management's Industry-Academia Project with University Students
KB Asset Management announced on December 4 that it has successfully completed its industry-academia cooperation project with university students.
The project, which was conducted over about a month in collaboration with the joint organization 'SUM'-comprised of the business strategy societies from Ewha Womans University, Sogang University, and Hanyang University-focused on redefining the digital investment experience from the perspective of Generation Z and identifying future areas for improvement.
Six teams, made up of students from the business strategy societies of Ewha Womans University (DECK), Sogang University (LENS), and Hanyang University (HESA), participated in the project. Over approximately four weeks, the teams carried out their assignments, sharing their progress through two rounds of interim submissions and presentations. KB Asset Management employees served as mentors throughout the project.
The final presentations, which showcased the insights and analytical skills of the next generation of investors, were delivered by each team in front of company employees. KB Asset Management evaluated the teams based on creativity, logical reasoning, and feasibility, and selected winners for the Grand Prize (1st place), Excellence Award (2nd place), and Merit Award (3rd place).
KB Asset Management plans to gradually incorporate the outcomes of this industry-academia collaboration into its digital communication channels and overall marketing strategy, aiming to provide investors with an enhanced investment experience.
Choi Younghwan, Head of Digital Marketing Division at KB Asset Management, said, "I was impressed that every team produced in-depth analysis and practical proposals within such a short period," adding, "This became an opportunity to redefine the financial investment experience from the viewpoint of the younger generation."
Choi further emphasized, "We will continue to proactively understand the needs of our core customers in their 20s and 30s, who are the future of the investment market, and further strengthen our customer-centric services and communication competitiveness."
