NH Investment & Securities Delivers Briquettes and Daily Necessities to Yeongdeungpo Jjokbangchon
NH Investment & Securities announced on December 4 that it held a donation ceremony to provide briquettes and supplies for the Warmth Storage to help elderly residents living alone in the Yeongdeungpo jjokbangchon (small room village) spend a warm winter.

View original imageOn the afternoon of December 3, CEO Byungwoon Yoon and around 30 employees visited the Yeongdeungpo jjokbangchon to deliver 2,000 briquettes and support supplies. Since 2013, NH Investment & Securities has maintained a relationship with the Yeongdeungpo jjokbangchon, providing steady support such as samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) in summer and briquettes and daily necessities in winter. In June of this year, the company donated supplies worth 10 million won to the newly established Warmth Storage, a food bank in Yeongdeungpo jjokbangchon, and this time delivered an additional 2,000 briquettes and supplies. The donated items are prepared using social contribution funds voluntarily raised by employees.
NH Investment & Securities has established a Social Contribution Team within its ESG Headquarters to pursue systematic sharing management and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices. Under the leadership of the Social Contribution Team, the company operates 37 in-house volunteer groups in which all employees participate, voluntarily raising funds and visiting various welfare organizations in the community to share and volunteer, delivering warmth to marginalized neighbors.
