First Case Following Emergency Transport System Agreement with Andong Hospital
'Nuclear Power Plant Construction Site, A Matter of Life and Death.' In an emergency at the Shin Hanul Units 3 and 4 construction site, a doctor helicopter was dispatched and dramatically saved the life of a collapsed worker.
On December 2, Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (headed by Lee Seyong) secured the golden hour by urgently transporting a worker from the main equipment construction site of Shin Hanul Units 3 and 4 via doctor helicopter.

This rescue is an example of the seamless connection between the doctor helicopter operation at Andong Hospital and the emergency medical response system at the Hanul Headquarters construction site. It marks the first achievement of the emergency transport system agreement (MOU) signed in May between the Hyundai Engineering & Construction consortium, the main contractor for Shin Hanul Units 3 and 4, and Andong Hospital.
Additionally, the doctor helicopter covered a distance that would have taken over 1 hour and 30 minutes by car in just 25 minutes, demonstrating the improved possibility of saving lives in emergency situations.
