Kyungnam College of Information & Technology Sweeps 70 Awards in 7 Categories at Busan Beauty Art Festival
K-Beauty Health and K-Beauty Skin & Nail Departments Excel in All Categories
Strengthening Competitiveness Ahead of 'Global K-Beauty Department' Integration
Students from Kyungnam College of Information & Technology participated in the '2025 Busan Beauty Art Festival' held at the Busan Port International Exhibition & Convention Center from November 24 to 25, and won the Busan Mayor's Award, the highest honor in the competition, in seven beauty categories.
Students from the K-Beauty Health Department and the K-Beauty Skin & Nail Department at Kyungnam College of Information & Technology received awards in seven categories, including facial care, body back care, hair removal, and semi-permanent nail and eyebrow procedures.
In addition, the students swept a total of 70 awards, including the National Assembly Member's Award, the President's Award from the Korea Association of Skin Beauty, the Busan Branch President's Award from the Korea Association of Skin Beauty, as well as gold, silver, and bronze medals in each category.
This event, hosted by the Busan Metropolitan City Government and organized by the Korea Association of Skin Beauty, the Korea Beauty Association, and the Busan Branch of the Korea Nail Beauty Association, featured citizen-participation programs such as a beauty skills competition, Beauty Golden Bell, and career counseling for beauty college students. The event attracted around 2,000 visitors, highlighting its popularity.

Kyungnam College of Information & Technology, the only CIDESCO international beauty therapy education certification institution in the Busan area, is integrating its K-Beauty Health Department and K-Beauty Skin & Nail Department into the 'Global K-Beauty Department' for the 2026 academic year. The college is currently recruiting 160 new students, targeting school-age students, adult learners, and international students.
