Daejeon Technopark Connects Local Robotics & Drone Companies with Young Talents
Promoting University-Industry Networking Programs
to Support Youth Employment and Regional Settlement
A university-industry networking program was held to introduce outstanding local robotics and drone companies to young talents who will lead the future industries of the Daejeon region, supporting youth employment and encouraging them to settle in the area.
On November 26, Daejeon Technopark hosted an exchange event at the Daejeon TP Eoullim Plaza under the theme of "Robotics & Drone Company-Young Talent Meet Up Day," aiming to connect robotics and drone companies in Daejeon with promising young professionals.
The event brought together over 100 outstanding students from local universities such as Chungnam National University, Hannam University, and Hanbat National University, along with five leading robotics and drone companies representing Daejeon: RGT, TWINE, NES&TEC, DUSI TECH, and UCON System.
Choi Seonga, Deputy Mayor for Political Economy and Science of Daejeon Metropolitan City, also attended the event and delivered a welcome speech.
The participating companies introduced industry trends, technological competitiveness, and their ideal candidate profiles, and increased the potential for employment linkage by providing tailored consultations with prospective talents at promotional booths set up on site.
In particular, Min Hyeonggi, CEO of Pink Lab and an expert in the robotics field, gave a special lecture on "Prospects for the Robotics & Drone Industry and Strategies for Employment Success," helping young job seekers enhance their job preparation skills and gain a better understanding of future industries and career direction.
Daejeon Technopark plans to use this Meet Up Day as an opportunity to address the workforce needs of local robotics and drone companies and to further expand customized university-industry collaboration programs that support youth employment and encourage young professionals to settle in the region.
