Gyeongbuk Development Corporation Wins Grand Prize in Public Enterprise and Corporation Category at 'SNS of the Year' Awards
On November 26, Gyeongbuk Development Corporation was the only one among 16 city development corporations nationwide to simultaneously win the grand prize in both the blog and Instagram categories of the public enterprise and corporation sector at the 11th 'SNS of the Year' awards ceremony, held at the Korea Press Center in Seoul.
'SNS of the Year' is hosted by the Korea Social Content Promotion Association and selects companies and institutions that contribute to active communication with the public through evaluations of each SNS platform (blog, Facebook, Instagram, KakaoStory, YouTube) operated by public institutions, private companies, and small business owners.
Gyeongbuk Development Corporation won the grand prize in the public enterprise construction sector.

This year, in particular, the corporation strengthened content management tailored to each channel's characteristics. On its blog, it provides easily understandable explanations of complex housing-related topics-often difficult to grasp but closely related to the corporation’s work, such as real estate and residential information-so that residents can apply them in their daily lives. On Instagram, it visually delivers key information in the form of card news, cleverly presents memes and images featuring the corporation's character 'Haouri,' and offers a friendly and cheerful atmosphere with a free-spirited, playful B-level sensibility.
In addition to the existing blog reporters group, the corporation has newly established and operates video and Instagram reporter groups. By emotionally re-editing content created by these reporters and posting it on Instagram, the corporation has enhanced inter-channel linkage and operational efficiency. Through these efforts, Gyeongbuk Development Corporation has further solidified its resident-centered communication system and continues to engage in active online communication.
