Seeking Solutions to Meet Care Demands in the Super-Aged Era
and Improve the Quality of Long-Term Care Services
Kim Gwangyeol, Governor of Yeongdeok County, held a meeting with members of the Yeongdeok County Home Long-Term Care Institution Association on November 25 to effectively respond to the increasing demand for care services due to the region's super-aged population and to seek ways to improve the quality of long-term care services.

View original imageThis meeting was organized to strengthen the public-private cooperation system and to incorporate field feedback into administration, in response to the implementation of integrated care services and support for basic livelihood security recipients, as well as to address the rapidly increasing demand for elderly care amid a shortage of care workers.
At the meeting, Governor Kim Gwangyeol stated, "Long-term care services are essential policies that protect and maintain the quality of life for seniors and their families. I am grateful for the dedication of the Home Long-Term Care Institution Association, which has worked tirelessly in the field," adding, "We will ensure that the voices from the field are reflected in our policies so that Yeongdeok County can become a model region for long-term care services."
