Kiturami Boiler Wins "Excellent Company Chosen by Female Consumers" Award
Selected as Winner in the Home Boiler Category for 25 Consecutive Years
On November 26, Kiturami announced that it had been selected as the winner in the home boiler category for the 25th consecutive year at the 28th "Excellent Company Chosen by Female Consumers" awards ceremony, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
The "Excellent Company Chosen by Female Consumers" award is a recognition system that selects companies contributing to social development by practicing consumer respect, being women-friendly, eco-friendly, engaging in social contribution, and pursuing mutually beneficial management, based on evaluations by female consumers and an advisory panel.
Kiturami has been leading the distribution of eco-friendly, high-efficiency products that protect the atmospheric environment and help reduce consumers' energy costs. Additionally, to ease the financial burden of a lump-sum payment when replacing a boiler, the company introduced the "Ttasoom Care" home boiler rental service.
Kiturami is not only committed to products and services for consumers, but also promotes mutually beneficial management for employees and the local community, spreading positive influence. To support maternity protection and work-life balance for employees, the company operates a variety of programs that can be utilized according to individual circumstances, including: ▲maternity and paternity leave, ▲parental leave, ▲reduced working hours during pregnancy and childcare periods, ▲and family care leave and time off.
The "Kiturami Scholarship Program," aimed at nurturing future talent in the local community, has been ongoing for 40 years since 1985. To date, the accumulated scholarship funds provided to more than 55,000 students total 35.9 billion won. In addition to the scholarship program, the Kiturami Cultural Foundation and Kiturami Welfare Foundation, which are public interest foundations under the Kiturami Group, have carried out social contribution projects worth 56.7 billion won over the past 40 years, including support for academic research, educational institution development funds, and social welfare facility support, striving to foster shared growth and a culture of giving in the local community.
