View original imageThis event was designed to strengthen the global competitiveness of the K-beauty industry and to revitalize the local economy through the development of "K-Beauty Wonju." Its goals include enhancing the expertise of beauty arts, establishing a foundation for nurturing beauty talent, and boosting the morale of professional beauticians.
In the morning, a beauty contest was held in the fields of hair, skin, nails, and makeup, with participation from professional beauticians and students majoring in beauty. It is expected to serve as an opportunity for beauty professionals to showcase the skills they have honed over time, further develop their expertise, and foster a spirit of craftsmanship.
In the afternoon, a variety of hands-on programs such as self nail art, face painting, and hand massage were offered, allowing not only beauty professionals but also citizens to participate and enjoy. In addition, an exhibition of works submitted by beauty professionals was also scheduled to take place.
The highlight of the event included a beautiful hair show, hair cutting demonstrations, and a passionate runway show by senior models. There were also music and dance performances, including a stage by a public ambassador singer for Wonju City.
