Muju County to Hold Event on November 26-27 Wishing for Successful Fourth Nuri Rocket Launch

On November 26 and 27, Muju County in North Jeolla Province will host a science event at the Bandi Star Astronomical Science Center to wish for the successful fourth launch of the Nuri rocket by the Korea Aerospace Administration.
According to the county on November 25, the event will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the cooperation of the Korea Aerospace Administration. Participants will be able to attend seasonal constellation lectures and participate in a Saturn observation event at the astronomical science center.
Park Jehun, Director of the Observatory, stated, "The fourth launch of the Nuri rocket is an important project targeting both scientific and industrial achievements. Above all, there are high expectations because it demonstrates Korea's independent space transportation capabilities led by the private sector." He added, "I hope you will join us at the Bandi Star Astronomical Science Center for this historic moment of the fourth Nuri launch and take pride in the nation's space science and technology."
Participation in the science event to wish for the successful fourth launch of the Nuri rocket is free of charge, and the first 200 participants will receive an 'Astronaut Keyring' provided by the Korea Aerospace Administration. Meanwhile, the Muju Bandi Star Astronomical Science Center has a total area of 1,047 square meters and is equipped with exhibition halls, a video room, an observation room, and lecture rooms, accommodating up to 100 visitors at a time.
