Gyeonggi Office of Education Launches 'RUN:ON School' Campaign as School Facilities Open Wider
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is launching the 'RUN:ON School' campaign as it expands the opening of school facilities. The campaign aims to promote a culture of responsible school facility use by encouraging understanding of each school's unique characteristics.
This campaign has been organized to spread a culture of school facility usage within the local community, focusing on compliance with usage guidelines, tidying up after use, and minimizing noise. Through these efforts, both schools and local residents can make pleasant use of school facilities, while also strengthening mutual respect between users and schools.
The provincial office will hold a variety of programs, including a one-day running class and plogging (jogging while picking up litter), in collaboration with An Jung-eun, a well-known 'running evangelist.' These programs are designed to help participants experience the importance and responsibility of following school facility usage guidelines. Following events in Anyang and Ansan on the 23rd, additional sessions will be held in Namyangju on the 29th and Goyang on the 30th.
