Geumsan Insamju Ships $100,000 Worth of Ginseng Liquor to Austria
Promoted as Part of a $600,000 Export Contract Signed Last November
Geumsan Insamju, a ginseng liquor manufacturer located in Geumseong-myeon, Geumsan County, South Chungcheong Province, shipped ginseng liquor worth 100,000 US dollars on November 21.
This shipment is the second export to Austria under a 600,000 US dollar export contract signed at the export consultation meeting of the 28th World Korean Business Convention held in Vienna, Austria, in November last year.
Since 2022, the county has been actively promoting the international localization and commercialization strategy for Geumsan ginseng, supporting the export of Geumsan ginseng products that have been improved to meet the preferences of European consumers and the demands of the local market.
At the shipment ceremony, Jeong Wonsik, head of the Geumsan Ginseng Cooperative Association, and Choi Eonnyeon of the agricultural corporation Geumsan Insamju Co., Ltd., attended to celebrate the export achievement together.
