Strategies for Responding to a Rapidly Changing Business Environment
Samjong KPMG announced on November 24 that it will host the "Gyeongbuk-Gyeongnam Regional Automotive Industry Seminar" over two days: November 27 at the Daegu Trade Center and November 28 at the Busan Eurasia Platform.
This seminar is designed for automotive parts and general manufacturing companies in the Gyeongbuk and Gyeongnam regions, aiming to diagnose the rapidly changing corporate management environment and share practical response strategies.
At the seminar, accounting, tax, and industry experts from Samjong KPMG will give presentations on key issues. First, Executive Director Kang Heeseok will discuss "Adoption and Preparation for K-IFRS 1118," covering the main changes in IFRS 18, which is set to be implemented in 2027, and the necessary preparations in advance. Executive Director Ryu Suseok will explain the main points of the revised tax law proposal and related regulations and precedents, focusing on aspects that directly impact corporate management.
Executive Director Oh Youngbin will analyze risks arising from changes in the global trade environment, such as the strengthening of protectionism and supply chain restructuring since the Trump administration, and will introduce relevant response strategies. Lastly, Executive Director Cho Yongho will address "Utilizing Financial Closing in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI)," highlighting case studies and practical applications of financial closing using generative AI and automation technologies.
