Baemin Launches Four Seasons Safety Support Campaign for Riders
Seasonal Supply Support Surpasses 500,000 Items Distributed
Woowa Brothers Youth, the company responsible for Baemin’s logistics services, announced on November 21 that it will run the “Four Seasons Safety Support Campaign” in partnership with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, providing free winter safety supplies to riders in preparation for the cold season. This campaign is the largest support program for delivery riders in the industry, and Woowa Brothers Youth has continued it for five consecutive years since 2021.
The seasonal supply support by Woowa Brothers Youth is designed to provide riders, who spend long hours outdoors, with necessary items and to create a safer delivery environment. In particular, the selection of supplies reflects feedback from on-site rider surveys and meetings to ensure the items are genuinely helpful for delivery work. This winter, 6,000 Baemin Connect riders will receive items such as Baemin Padded Jackets and Baemin Handle Covers.
Since 2021, Woowa Brothers Youth has provided essential delivery items to riders free of charge twice a year, both in summer and winter, for five consecutive years. By supplying items that have short replacement cycles or enhance safe driving when kept on hand, the company helps reduce riders’ financial burdens. To date, approximately 500,000 items worth about 2.5 billion won have been distributed, making this the largest seasonal safety support program for platform workers.
