3rd Korea Safe Workplace Awards Ceremony and Safety Seminar Held
Korea Federation of SMEs and Industrial Safety Win-Win Foundation Host '2025 Industrial Safety Win-Win Conference'
The Korea Federation of SMEs announced that, in collaboration with the Industrial Safety Win-Win Foundation, it held the '2025 Industrial Safety Win-Win Conference' on November 20 at the KBIZ Hall of the Korea Federation of SMEs. Marking its third year, this conference was co-hosted by the Korea Federation of SMEs and the Industrial Safety Win-Win Foundation to recognize outstanding companies and individuals in safety and health management and to promote a culture of safety. The event was supported by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, and Hyundai Motor Group.
During the first part of the conference, the 3rd Korea Safe Workplace Awards ceremony was held to honor small and medium-sized enterprises with excellent safety and health management, as well as contributors in the field of industrial safety and health. In the corporate category of the 3rd Korea Safe Workplace Awards, the following companies were recognized: Hyundai Hightech (Minister of Employment and Labor Award), Wooshin Industry (President of the Korea Federation of SMEs Award), During Plus (President of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Award), and Luminous (President of the Industrial Safety Win-Win Foundation Award).
For the Special Corporate Award (President of the Industrial Safety Win-Win Foundation Award), DELCOM and Hanbit were honored among workplaces participating in the Industrial Safety Win-Win Foundation's support projects, recognized for their high level of implementation in safety and health management systems and outstanding achievements. In the Special Individual Award category, Kim Kisik, Director at Taeyang Jeonggong (Minister of Employment and Labor Award), and Paek Junsung, Safety and Health Team Leader at Shinsin ENC (President of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Award), were recognized.

The second part of the conference featured a special lecture on ESG, an introduction to government policies for industrial accident prevention in small and medium-sized enterprises, and presentations of best practices. O Kiwoong, Executive Vice President of the Korea Federation of SMEs, stated, "The importance of industrial safety is being emphasized more than ever," adding, "We hope that the pioneering and practical safety management know-how demonstrated by the award-winning companies will be widely shared, helping to firmly establish a culture of safety."
