Hana Financial Group Earns "Integrated A+" in KCGS ESG Evaluation
Recognized for Excellence in All Areas: Environment (E), Social (S), and Governance (G), Achieving One Level Higher Than Previous Rating
A Remarkable Achievement Following Two Consecutive Years of Top AAA Rating in the Globally Renowned MSCI Evaluation
Hana Financial Group announced on November 19 that it has received an "Integrated A+" rating in the 2025 ESG evaluation conducted by the Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability (KCGS), a leading domestic ESG evaluation agency.
The Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability annually evaluates listed companies in Korea on their sustainable growth by comprehensively assessing the areas of Environment (E), Social Responsibility (S), and Governance (G), and publicly discloses the ESG ratings and analysis results.
In this year's evaluation, Hana Financial Group was recognized for its excellence in all areas-environment, social responsibility, and governance-achieving an "Integrated A+" rating, which is one level higher than last year.
In particular, the group received high marks for its efforts to establish sound and transparent governance through: ▲ the establishment and management/supervision of environmental management governance, ▲ strengthening the independence of the board of directors, ▲ transparent information disclosure and protection of shareholder rights, and ▲ the formulation of group consumer risk management policies and monitoring of consumer protection activities.
Additionally, Hana Financial Group was commended for its exemplary ESG activities in areas such as: ▲ climate change risk management and the establishment of mid- to long-term carbon neutrality strategies, ▲ mutual growth with local communities, and ▲ enhanced personal information protection.

Hana Financial Group has also received the highest "AAA" rating for two consecutive years in the ESG evaluation announced by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI), a global ESG evaluation agency, and has been included in the highest "DJSI World Index" of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for three consecutive years.
