Forming an Extreme Right-Wing Cartel with Yoon Sukyeol, Hwang Kyoahn, Jeon Gwanghun, and Jeon Hangil
Defeat in Next Year's Local Elections Inevitable... "Missteps Have Exceeded the Limit"
Jiwon Park, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea representing Haenam, Wando, and Jindo in South Jeolla Province, strongly criticized Jang Donghyuk, leader of the People Power Party, saying, "After losing next year's local elections, you will be ousted from your position as party leader."
On November 18, Park wrote on his Facebook page, "When politicians are anxious about their political future, they tend to make more missteps. The extent of Jang Donghyuk's missteps has surpassed the limits of what democracy and the public can tolerate."
He continued, "If your foundation within the party is weak, you must take the right path even when it is difficult. If you try to overcome the crisis through a far-right cartel with Yoon Sukyeol, Hwang Kyoahn, Jeon Gwanghun, and Jeon Hangil, defeat in next year's local elections is inevitable. Naturally, by June, you will be ousted from the party leadership."
He also pointed out, "Jang Donghyuk hurled abusive remarks at the president, who is leaving for visits to four countries including the G20, saying, 'He cashed out on Daejang-dong and is riding on Unit 1.' Jang Donghyuk's political fate will end by June next year. For the sake of the People Power Party and the country, it should end even sooner," he emphasized.
Meanwhile, Jang Donghyuk, leader of the People Power Party, sparked controversy on November 12 at a rally condemning the prosecution's decision to drop the appeal in the Daejang-dong case, by saying, "We are Hwang Kyoahn. Let's unite and fight together."
