The Korea Inclusive Finance Agency and the Credit Card Social Contribution Foundation announced on November 18 that they will be recruiting participants for next year's credit score improvement support program for Sunshine Loan Card users.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the "Inclusive Finance Connect" app until November 28. This year, the number of participants has been expanded to 3,000.
Since 2023, the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency has been operating the "Credit Score Improvement Support Program" using foundation donations as funding, providing credit and debt management consulting to approximately 7,000 Sunshine Loan Card users.
According to the results of the first round of the 2023 support program, among participants who received credit and debt management consulting three times or more, 47.2% saw their credit scores increase by up to 586 points, with an average increase of 39.9 points.
This year, the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency will provide participants with a participation incentive of 30,000 won and offer credit and debt management consulting once a month, for a total of at least three sessions. Participants who diligently complete the consulting and raise their credit score by at least 31 points over 10 months will receive up to 400,000 won in incentives, depending on the level of improvement.
