Its main features include: ▲ integrated provision of key administrative information such as immigration, employment, education, housing, healthcare, and welfare; ▲ AI chatbot-based multilingual Q&A; ▲ operation of a migrant community space; and ▲ comprehensive information offered through linkage with relevant organizations.
Notably, for the first time in Korea, the portal will introduce a generative AI-based multilingual consultation function, enabling customized guidance in areas such as residency, labor, and daily life. It will also minimize information gaps between language groups through professional translation in six languages and real-time Google Translate functionality.
The portal is scheduled to be developed over six months, with the goal of launching the service in the first half of 2026. After development, it will allow users to view migrant support policies and project information-previously dispersed across multiple agencies-in one place, thereby improving work efficiency for administrative agencies as well as benefiting migrants. By operating a location-based migrant community, the portal will also provide locally tailored information on medical institutions, educational facilities, cultural events, and other essential regional services.
