Activist from SADD Arrested for Assaulting Police Officer at Gwanghwamun Station on Line 5
An activist from the Solidarity Against Disability Discrimination (SADD) was arrested at Gwanghwamun Station on Seoul Subway Line 5 for assaulting a police officer during a protest.
The Jongno Police Station in Seoul announced that at approximately 8:30 a.m. on November 18, the activist, identified as A, was apprehended at the scene on charges of assaulting a police officer.
Activist A is accused of assaulting a police officer at the scene after police officers surrounded one of the members of the activist group.
On the morning of November 18, starting at 8:00 a.m., Activist A and SADD held the "66th Subway Protest During Morning Commute" at Gwanghwamun Station.
