IBK to Participate Again in the World's Largest Electronics Exhibition Next Year
Continuing Participation at CES 2026
Independent Booth under the Name "IBK Innovation Pavilion"
Around Ten Technology Innovation Companies to Join the Exhibition
"Promoting the Image of a Leading Bank in Technology Finance"
Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) will participate in CES, the world’s largest electronics and IT exhibition, again next year. Following its first independent booth this year, IBK plans to set up another exclusive pavilion at CES 2026 to further strengthen its image as a leading bank in technology finance.
According to the financial sector on November 18, IBK will operate an independent booth at CES 2026, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA, from January 6 to 9 next year (local time). An IBK representative stated, "We plan to promote IBK’s image as a bank that leads venture capital and technology finance in Korea and supports the global expansion of ventures and startups."
The booth for next year will be called the "IBK Innovation Pavilion." The name reflects the concept of an exhibition space where IBK, a leader in innovative finance, and technology innovation companies participate together. At CES 2025, IBK showcased AI-based financial services and demonstrated a future growth model for discovering technology innovation companies. Next year, the bank will go further by utilizing a new technology evaluation system to jointly promote companies that have been matched with IBK. Around 10 companies are expected to participate, and they will directly demonstrate their technologies and services at the booth.
Additionally, IBK will demonstrate a K-content investment process using kiosks. The bank will also host events utilizing K-culture, in which it has invested. For example, a photo booth will allow visitors to take pictures, and commemorative gifts will be offered using a "gacha" (capsule toy machine) system. IBK will also demonstrate its ESG precision diagnosis system, the first of its kind developed by a domestic bank, to support small and medium-sized enterprises in implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.

Through the KOTRA booth, IBK will support the exhibition of companies nurtured through its IBK Changgong startup accelerator. Last year, IBK established the "IBK Changgong Pavilion" to support the participation of eight startups selected through its startup incubation platform, IBK Changgong. Before the exhibition, the selected companies participated in special programs such as a U.S. market entry strategy seminar and investor relations (IR) sessions at the IBK Changgong Silicon Valley Desk.
Separately from its participation in CES, IBK is also working to provide funding for the scaling up of technology innovation companies. On November 13, Curiosis, a bio-materials, parts, and equipment company that received an IBK Venture Loan, was listed on the KOSDAQ market. This loan product offers low-interest loans to startups that have received investments from venture capital institutions, and the bank can share in future increases in corporate value by utilizing warrants from bond with warrants. Since its launch in January 2023, the product has supported 209 companies with a total of 260 billion won. The Curiosis case is seen as an example of a promising venture overcoming the "death valley" period, where companies with strong technology but weak financial performance and collateral struggle to secure funding. The "death valley" refers to the critical period after founding when startups face severe financial difficulties threatening their survival.
