"Exciting" Community Volunteer Activities Tailored to Local Needs
Collaboration with Welfare Institutions, Social Contribution Felt by Citizens

About 350 executives and employees of BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Sungbin) mobilized across all areas of Busan, including beaches, welfare facilities, and animal shelters.

BNK Busan Bank announced that on November 15, its executives and employees carried out the "November Community Volunteer Group Regular Volunteer Activity" in 16 districts and counties of Busan.

This activity is part of the "Exciting Community Volunteer Group" program, which operates monthly by region. It was conducted as a customized social contribution activity tailored to local needs. Participants engaged in a variety of volunteer activities at facilities for people with disabilities, social welfare centers, animal shelters, and coastal areas.

About 350 executives and employees of BNK Busan Bank are carrying out the Exciting November Community Volunteer Activities.

At facilities for people with disabilities, they supported self-reliance through activities such as assembling electrical wires and assisting with work. At social welfare centers, they engaged in sharing activities by preparing lunch boxes and snacks. In addition, citizen-participation programs were held, including walking companion animals and cleaning shelters, running a pet etiquette campaign, cleaning up coastal areas, and attaching rainwater inlet stickers.

BNK Busan Bank is implementing a practical, daily-life volunteer model that citizens can feel, in cooperation with local welfare facilities and volunteer centers. By operating a volunteer group centered on its executives and employees, the bank is strengthening its social responsibility as a "bank that grows together with the community."

Kim Yongkyu, Head of the Management Strategy Group at BNK Busan Bank, stated, "Every month, our executives and employees directly participate throughout the region, taking the lead in walking alongside the local community," and added, "We will continue activities that create BNK Busan Bank's unique social value in various fields."

This year, the BNK Busan Bank Community Volunteer Group has carried out a variety of social contribution activities, including: ▲ the regular "Exciting Community Volunteer Group" activities (with participation from 16 districts and counties each month), ▲ talent donation volunteer teams in five areas (culture and arts, plogging and health, global, financial education, and digital IT), and ▲ the operation of "BNK Social Contribution Day."
