NHN KCP Launches QR and NFC Ordering Features for Integrated Store Solution, "Easing Cost Burden for Small Business Owners"
"First in the Industry: Integrated Ordering and POS System"
NHN KCP, a comprehensive payment solutions company, announced on the 17th that it has added the QR and NFC (Near Field Communication)-based ordering service, "KCP Order," to its integrated store management solution, "KCP POS+ (POS Plus)."
According to the company, this is the first time in the domestic payment industry that an integrated ordering service has been established, offering QR pickup orders, QR table orders, and NFC orders all linked to POS (Point of Sale) systems.
KCP POS+ is NHN KCP's integrated store management solution that allows management of POS, kiosk, and ordering functions on a single platform.
It is compatible with all major operating systems (OS), including iOS, Android, and Windows. It can be used on a variety of devices, such as tablets, smartphones, and PCs. The platform is equipped with a real-time data synchronization system, enabling order data from the store to be managed across all devices.
It supports all payment methods, including credit cards, simple payments, and Apple Pay. It also provides customer data management features, such as sales records and sales by product.
KCP Order is an integrated ordering service that supports both table and pickup orders. It provides both NFC order and QR order functions.
NFC Order is a contactless ordering service that utilizes the NFC sensor in smartphones. Installation is completed simply by attaching a sticker with an embedded NFC tag chip to the table.
QR Order is a contactless ordering method that supports both pickup and table orders. It offers two types: attachable and stand-alone. Installation can be customized according to the store type, interior design, and seating arrangement.
Compared to existing tablet PC and kiosk-based ordering, KCP Order can reduce fixed costs by more than 80% per month on average. It is expected to help small business owners and self-employed individuals reduce labor and maintenance costs.
Existing KCP POS+ merchants can use the KCP Order function without any additional service fees. With just a QR code or NFC sticker, a contactless ordering environment can be established without a separate terminal device.
