This year’s netball festival features a total of 41 teams representing 41 schools, including 14 elementary school teams, 16 middle school teams, and 11 high school teams, all selected from 17 cities and provinces nationwide. The students will compete fiercely in group stage leagues and final tournament rounds, experiencing the joy of sports and the value of teamwork.
The matches are being conducted fairly in accordance with the official rules of the Korea Netball Association, and all referees are certified officials, ensuring highly reliable judgments. In particular, player substitutions, handling of fouls, and the process for lodging objections are all managed according to clear regulations, securing fairness and transparency throughout the competition.
In addition to the matches, a variety of cultural events are being held to further boost student participation and interest. The venue features permanent experience zones, including a photo zone, instant photo booths, and craft-making stations, providing students with enjoyable memories.
Furthermore, an instructional and refereeing workshop led by an international netball referee is being offered, providing an educational opportunity to deepen understanding of the game.
Additionally, matches are being broadcast live on YouTube, allowing those who cannot attend in person to enjoy the excitement in real time. A netball dance contest is also being held, giving students a chance to showcase their talents and passion, and further elevating the festival atmosphere.
