The group consists of 32 members across four divisions: Economy & Safety, Housing & Welfare, Culture & Transportation, and Environment & Education.
This future vision is the result of four meetings and division-specific discussions, beginning with the first workshop on September 30. It reflects both the sustainability of the city and the qualitative improvement of citizens' overall quality of life.
Based on the future vision and action plans proposed by the Citizen Planning Group, Guri City plans to further develop the "2040 Guri City Master Plan." The city aims to hold a public hearing and gather opinions from the Guri City Council in the first half of 2026, after which it will seek approval from Gyeonggi Province.
