This selection recognizes the results of on-site, collaborative efforts to address smoking cessation blind spots among residents of rental housing and manufacturing workers.
The Jeonnam Smoking Cessation Support Center provides on-site smoking cessation support for residential and work environments with limited access to medical and welfare services.
The center operates customized programs tailored to each institution's environment, and is promoting a smoking cessation support model that integrates health checkups such as individual professional counseling, lung capacity and carbon monoxide measurement, atrial fibrillation screening, and acetaldehyde dehydrogenase testing.
The two institutions selected as excellent organizations this time have contributed to improving the accessibility and efficiency of smoking cessation services by encouraging participation in the programs and providing counseling spaces.
Park Inuk, Director of Western Production at Hyundai Himms, stated, "I believe that employee safety and health are the best forms of welfare," and added, "We will actively cooperate in health promotion activities in the workplace."
