LG Electronics provides in-vehicle infotainment software, while LG Energy Solution has recently secured a major position as a key supplier by signing a battery contract worth 15 trillion won.
Attention is also focused on whether LG Innotek, which has not yet established a direct business relationship with Mercedes-Benz, will succeed in securing a new deal. LG Innotek is expected to explore the possibility of supplying automotive components such as advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) sensors.
