The donation was led by C-Rise Cooperative, a youth organization in Jinhae District, with support from local tourism businesses affiliated with the Changwon-Gimhae Tourism Dure under the Korea Tourism Organization, and startups from the Jinhae Naval Base Commercial District Blossom Startup program. They used a 'coffee truck,' which has recently become a popular symbol of support, to share the happiness of a cup of coffee with the service members in a lively and youthful atmosphere.
Jinhae District also displayed a box of handwritten messages of support for the Navy, written by local residents, on one side of the coffee truck, leaving a deep impression on the service members. This message box was filled with notes of gratitude, encouragement, and support for the Navy, written by citizens during the 'Autumn Naval Port Festa' held in October. As they read the heartfelt messages, the service members smiled with joy and gratitude. After the event, the message box was delivered to the Education Command.
Yang Haneul, head of C-Rise Cooperative, who attended the event, expressed, "I was happy to finally put into action a donation I had long considered in my heart, and to express my gratitude to the service members who play such a vital role in our community on the occasion of the Navy's 80th anniversary." The service members who received the coffee also conveyed their thanks, saying, "The warm support shown by local residents has given us great strength."
