The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education has taken active steps to spread the values of Environmental, Social, and Transparent Management (ESG) throughout schools.
The Provincial Office of Education announced on November 12 that it participated in the '2025 Jeonnam ESG Festival' held around Namak Central Park in Muan. Through this event, it laid the foundation for creating a sustainable educational ecosystem involving students, faculty, parents, and the local community.

View original imageThis 'ESG Festival' was organized to establish the values of environmental responsibility, social contribution, and transparent, accountable school culture within the educational field. The event featured a variety of programs, including hands-on experience booths run by the village education community, performances and exhibitions by local arts organizations and institutions, and the 'ESG Reading Scholarship Quiz' in which students participated.
An official from the Provincial Office of Education stated, "Through this event, we confirmed that practice-oriented ESG education, in collaboration with the local community, is taking root in schools."
Parents who participated in the event shared their impressions, saying, "It was a meaningful time for our children to create and experience things themselves, learning the importance of the environment."
