The Global Talent Hub Center of the RISE Project Group at Dongshin University announced on November 12 that it recently held the "Jeonnam Central-Northern Region Joint Study Abroad Fair" at the Hanoi Grand Hotel in Vietnam to strengthen the foundation for cultivating global talent and attract outstanding international students.
This fair was organized as part of the Ministry of Education's "Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System (RISE) Global Open Campus Project." The Global Talent Hub Center of Dongshin University hosted the event, with Jeonnam Science University, Jeonnam Provincial College, and Chodang University participating.
The event was attended by a total of 319 people, including 201 prospective Vietnamese students and 118 representatives from 74 study abroad agencies. The four universities operated individual counseling booths to introduce each school's specialized educational programs, global admission support systems, and scholarship programs. Promotional videos for each university were shown, and recruitment briefings were held, further strengthening the international competitiveness of local universities and promoting the value of their global education brands.
In addition, discussions were held with related organizations to establish plans for signing MOUs for global talent development and linking exchange programs.
Prospective students actively asked questions related to their study abroad experience, such as university locations, departments, major curricula, and dormitories, resolving their curiosities. They also expressed high satisfaction after viewing videos showcasing Korea's global education environment.
