Mayor Bang Sehwan of Gwangju Stresses Thorough Prevention of Industrial Accidents During Major Construction Site Inspections

View original imageThe inspection was conducted in person by Mayor Bang Sehwan, who visited the construction site for community sports facilities in Toechon-myeon, the Songjeongnam Neighborhood Park development site, and the complex building construction site on the former city hall grounds in succession, thoroughly checking the progress of each project and the status of safety management.
This inspection was organized to identify potential safety risks at construction sites ahead of the winter season and to review the progress of major infrastructure projects. All three projects are being promoted as key initiatives to expand local infrastructure and improve convenience for citizens.
Mayor Bang Sehwan emphasized, "Since these facilities will be directly used by citizens, special attention must be paid to safety management and quality assurance at each stage of construction," adding, "Please carefully inspect potential hazards on site to prevent industrial accidents and strictly comply with safety management standards."
Mayor Bang also listened to the opinions of site personnel and requested, "Please actively incorporate even minor inconveniences or improvement requests to deliver results that will satisfy citizens."
