This event, the largest advanced technology expo in the country, showcased key future industries such as robotics, AI, drones, urban air mobility (UAM), and digital media all in one place. Four major exhibitions featured more than 600 companies and institutions operating over 1,300 booths, attracting approximately 60,000 visitors and achieving great success.

The event simultaneously hosted four large-scale exhibitions: ▲RoboWorld (hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy), ▲Drone and Urban Air Mobility Expo (hosted by Goyang City), ▲Digital Media Tech Show (hosted by Goyang City and Gyeonggi Province), and ▲Digital Future Show (hosted by Gyeonggi Province). This created a platform for convergence technology that broke down the boundaries between industries. With robotics, artificial intelligence, aerial mobility, and digital media technologies gathered in one place, the event presented the future vision of "Goyang, a city where technology becomes life."

During the event, a variety of technology seminars and business meetings facilitated active exchanges between domestic and international industry experts and companies, seeking new opportunities for collaboration in advanced technology industries. Additionally, hands-on programs and future technology exhibitions open to citizens demonstrated the potential for the popularization of advanced technology and the revitalization of local industries.

In particular, at the "2025 Drone and Urban Air Mobility Expo" hosted by Goyang Special City, major companies and public institutions such as POSCO, SK Telecom, LIG Nex1, Next Aerospace, Incheon International Airport Corporation, Korea Transportation Safety Authority, and Kakao Mobility showcased technologies and innovative products related to urban air mobility (UAM), autonomous flight, and unmanned defense vehicles. These displays received enthusiastic support and attention from visitors as next-generation transportation solutions to address urban congestion.

Lee Donghwan, Mayor of Goyang Special City, stated, "Goyang is establishing itself as a hub city for Korea's future growth, encompassing robotics, AI, and digital industries, including a demonstration base for drones and UAM. We will leap forward as a future city that the world is watching, where technological innovation transforms citizens' lives."

He added, "With RAD KOREA WEEK 2025 as a turning point, we will strengthen cooperation with private companies, universities, and research institutions to help Goyang grow as a central city for future mobility demonstrations and the creation of an advanced industry ecosystem."

The city plans to make "RAD KOREA WEEK" an annual event, developing it into a key platform for the convergence of advanced technology industries.

Additionally, Goyang will continue its efforts to become "Korea's capital of future technology" by establishing a dedicated site for urban air mobility (UAM) demonstrations near KINTEX, strengthening corporate cooperation networks, and expanding citizen-oriented technology events.
