TESSER Signs Agreement with St. Vincent's Hospital to Implement 'Ontol AI Solution' Service
Automatically Analyzing Examinees' Health Screening Results for Personalized Explanations
On November 10, TESSER, a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for the medical field, announced that it had signed a contract with St. Vincent's Hospital of the Catholic University of Korea in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province to implement the Ontol AI solution service for its smart health screening center.
Through this agreement, St. Vincent's Hospital will introduce the AI-based, personalized Ontol Report, which allows examinees to receive their medical information more easily.
The Ontol Report automatically analyzes screening data, explains the results in a way that patients can easily understand, and provides a chatbot service based on personal medical data, with a focus on improving examinees' understanding of their medical information. It interprets various medical codes and converts result figures into sentence-based information, while also personalizing health risk assessments and highlighting items requiring attention based on each individual's age, gender, and screening history.
This enables patients to grasp their health status at a glance, rather than simply reviewing a list of numbers, and allows hospitals to significantly improve the efficiency of counseling sessions regarding test results.
Introduced alongside the Ontol Report, Ontol Scribe is a service that automatically generates screening result reports-previously written by medical staff based on examinee data-by integrating with the electronic medical record (EMR) system using AI technology.
During peak screening seasons, when many examinees visit the center, medical staff must prepare screening result reports for dozens or even hundreds of people each day, leading to increased work fatigue. Ontol Scribe reduces the time required to prepare these reports by 50 to 80 percent compared to previous methods, dramatically improves work efficiency, and completely eliminates simple errors (human error) caused by work fatigue. Its features are designed to enhance convenience for staff, such as linking with past screening histories and automatically classifying risk levels.

Lee Suhyun, CEO of TESSER, said, "Following the adoption of the Ontol AI solution by Dain Hospital, Park Heeboong Screening Center, and Kwangdong Hospital, this collaboration with St. Vincent's Hospital in Suwon demonstrates that the Ontol AI solution is well-validated even in large-scale screening center environments. We will continue to work toward the screening center's goals of providing easy-to-understand, user-friendly health information and improving work efficiency for staff."
