Yangpyeong County in Gyeonggi Province (Governor Jin Jinseon) successfully hosted a special lecture for residents on slow aging, featuring Professor Jeong Heewon from the Baby Boomer Generation (New Middle-aged), at the Mulbit Theater of Yangpyeong Library on November 8.

Professor Jeong Heewon, the invited speaker and former professor of Geriatrics at Asan Medical Center in Seoul, delivered a well-received lecture on practical health management methods and proper dietary habits under the theme of slow aging, specifically aimed at the New Middle-aged preparing for the second act of their lives.
This special lecture, which attracted significant interest from the pre-registration stage, saw enthusiastic participation from New Middle-aged residents of various age groups on the day of the event. Attendees gained valuable information on health management and dietary habits for the latter half of life and received practical advice and encouragement through interactive sessions.

The county is actively pursuing social contribution-oriented job linkage initiatives.
