Fire at Automobile Parts Factory in Jinhae-gu, Changwon ... 13 Workers Evacuate Safely

View original imageAt approximately 3:07 p.m. on November 9, a fire broke out on the first floor of an automobile parts manufacturing factory in Namyang-dong, Jinhae-gu, Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province.
The fire burned the interior of the factory and machinery, but no casualties were reported.
A total of 13 people, including eight workers on duty and five employees from partner companies, evacuated the building on their own.
Upon receiving the report, the fire authorities dispatched 30 personnel and 13 pieces of equipment, bringing the main blaze under control by 3:33 p.m. and fully extinguishing the fire by 3:51 p.m. that day.
