Discussions continued on ways to implement policies that children can directly experience and on reflecting voices from the field into municipal administration.
During the meeting, the results of the "Child-Friendly City Development Strategy Research Service," which was prepared by incorporating the opinions of children and citizens, were presented. This research focused on analyzing the level of children's awareness in the city and suggesting actionable strategies to ensure that children's perspectives are reflected throughout all policies. Committee members shared the research findings and jointly reviewed the four-year implementation plan and the direction of key projects.
Vice Mayor Hong Jisun stated, "All departments of the city are working together to create a city where children can grow up happily and safely," adding, "We will continue to do our best to create an environment where children's rights are respected and every child can play freely and with peace of mind."
