In fact, from January to October 2025, Lotte Mart's cumulative sales of value-for-money wines priced under 20,000 won increased by approximately 20% compared to the same period last year. The 'TASTY' series of value-for-money wines, first launched in December 2023, surpassed cumulative sales of 200,000 bottles by October 2025, demonstrating its strong popularity.
On November 13, Lotte Mart and Lotte Super will launch 'No.8 TASTY Bourgogne Pinot Noir (750ml)' and 'No.9 TASTY Bourgogne Chardonnay (750ml)' at 29,900 won each, and 'No.10 TASTY Mosel Riesling (750ml)' at 14,900 won. These new products feature wines from France's Bourgogne and Germany's Mosel regions, both of which are highly favored by domestic consumers.
The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay products are certified with France's highest wine quality grade, AOC, and are characterized by their delicate aromas and well-balanced body. Their prices are set about 30% lower than AOC wines of comparable quality from well-known brands, offering excellent value for money.
The Riesling is a QbA-grade product, the second-highest classification for German wines, and is rich in fruit aromas such as peach and lime. In particular, Mosel Riesling, with its moderate alcohol content (10.5%) and restrained sweetness, has recently become recognized among consumers as an "easy-to-enjoy white wine," resulting in a sharp increase in its popularity.
Jang Sewook, Liquor MD for Lotte Mart and Lotte Super, stated, "As high inflation persists, the trend of domestic wine consumers seeking value-for-money wines is becoming increasingly pronounced. Through the launch of these three new 'TASTY' wines, we aim to propose 'the completion of a delicious everyday life' and enhance the wine shopping satisfaction of customers preparing for year-end home parties."
